About TÁRKI

TÁRKI has been present in national and international empirical social research for several decades. Its main research areas include social stratification and mobility, labour market, income distribution, consumption and lifestyle, and social attitudes. In recent years, it carried out comparative research in Europe on behalf of European Union organisations and other clients. TÁRKI publishes its findings in publications alongside the Social Report. Since 2007, in addition to Tárki Social Research Institute Ltd., the group accepted Kopint-Tárki Gazdaságkutató Ltd., as partner. Our main areas of activity are:

strategic consultancy to government and business clients
development of micro-simulation database models (e.g. for the operation of tax and welfare systems, electoral systems)
surveys and research reports on economic and social trends (savings, inflation expectations, etc.)
survey of social and political attitudes and opinions
business surveys

TÁRKI Zrt.

The main activity of the Social Research Institute Ltd. is applied social research. Its clients are national and international public institutions, research organisations and enterprises. Main research areas: health, social policy, information society, labour market, minorities and discrimination. TÁRKI Zrt. operates a national data collection network. It carries out questionnaire surveys for its clients among the general public, companies and institutions in person, by telephone and via the Internet. In cooperation with its partners, it regularly conducts surveys in Central Europe.
